Description

Front Street in Ardara, in the west of Donegal. Whitewashed, black to the knee, Charlie McHugh's name over the door and Nancy's on the board swinging off the wall. Seven generations of the one family have run it, three of them still behind the bar, and the reputation was built on oysters they source locally.

Painted flat and straight on, the way you remember a place rather than the way a camera takes it. Five colours, hand-laid, with the brush left showing.

Printed edge to edge on heavy matte art paper. No mount, no border. Choose it unframed, or framed in oak, black or white.
