We write about Irish men, what they wear and what they make. Tailors and tattoo artists, cobblers and weavers, chefs, players, and whoever else is doing something worth an hour of anyone’s attention.
One piece a week. Reported rather than aggregated, and slow enough that it is worth reading twice. Ireland is the accent here, not the audience.
We tell you what we could not stand up
Every piece ends by saying what we confirmed, what we corrected, and what we could not verify. When a man’s wardrobe turns out to be mostly not Irish, the piece says so, because most of them are. Anything gifted or earned from is disclosed in the piece itself rather than in a line at the bottom.
It is not a disclosure burden. It is most of what we are selling.
Intentional living
Human written, and slow, in a business that rewards neither. The whole idea is to take the time a thing actually needs. That is easier to say than to hold to, so the only promise we make is the one a reader can check: a piece a week, and nothing published before it is ready.
If you make something
We come to you, photograph the work properly, write it honestly, and every usable frame is yours to use as well as ours, unwatermarked, before we ask you for anything.
We are not approaching anybody until there are ten pieces up. It would be a waste of your time and ours to ask before we can show you what this looks like.
